ADGEF Seminar at Zeta a Success
By Ken Bevers, Zeta

On February 27th, Zeta Chapter convened at Rockhurst University's Science Center conference room for the ADGEF Seminar conducted by Mike Blackstock, Foundation President. Actives were not the only attendees as nearly 20 alumni from as far away as Boston and Denver were present for this informative event.

The topic of the seminar was alumni affairs which Zeta has identified as an area in which the chapter needs to improve. The seminar served as not only a way to glean excellent information from Mike Blackstock but also to receive input from the alumni. Additionally, the reception which followed provided a wonderful evening of brotherhood. Actives and alumni, while enjoying pizza at a local restaurant, discussed the good times in ADG and the very bright future of our fraternity.

Overall, the seminar was very beneficial to Zeta Chapter as it helped to increase alumni contacts and proved a way for members to learn more effective strategies in boosting alumni involvement, response and relations. Zeta looks forward to the next ADGEF seminar! These opportunities provide a wonderful way to improve our operations as well as to connect with other ADGs.
