ADG Welcomes Alpha Zeta Chapter
By Matt Berkshire, Psi

Alpha Delta Gamma has a new chapter! At this year’s Spring Leadership Conference in Covington, Kentucky, Alpha Zeta was inducted. Formerly York Colony, the chapter is located at York College, York, Pennsylvania. The college has about 4,600 undergraduate students and boasts a Greek system numbering 12 other fraternities and sororities.

Each colonization and chartering holds its own unique challenges and Alpha Zeta was certainly no different! At one point, the colony nearly closed, but with a mixture of strong leadership and the fresh perspective of younger members, this was avoided. After a successful recruitment period, York colony arrived ready to become a new chapter.

When possible, we would like to build expansion in close proximity to other chapters to encourage inter-chapter relations and to serve as a support for the new group. In this case, Alpha Zeta is conveniently located near both Kappa and Alpha Delta Chapters. To insure the success of our new chapters, we encourage all chapters to consider visiting Alpha Zeta in the near future. They have a great deal they can learn from our long standing chapters and history.
